Here's what our family has been up to...

We've had a fun and busy holiday season. My dad took some great pictures of us with his very fancy new camera and lenses. You can tell which ones they are because the quality is so much better. Here are a few.

Christmas and New Years Eve

Decorating the tree...

Here is Sarah wearing my Caroling hat. She LOVES to sing Christmas songs, and listen to the Christmas cd's at naptime. Some of her favorite songs are "Jingle Bells", "Silent Night", and "O Holy Night."

The kids loved their Santa gift this year.

We had some friends over for a New Years Eve party. We just played games and talked and munched on yummy food everyone brought. We had a count-down for the kids at 8:00 and let them make all kinds of noise - banging on pots and pans and yelling "Happy New Year!" Then we sent them to bed!

Sarah and some of our guests had a good time playing Twister.

Jason's First Birthday! Dec. 20, 2006

Grandma Suzie and Grandpa Frank came to Jason's birthday party at the park.

Dad picked out his birthday present.

He also enjoyed opening a present from Grandma Ruth and Papa Steve. They mailed it to us from Utah.

Thank you everyone!

Thanksgiving Camping

Once again we went camping with friends for Thanksgiving. The weather was perfect - it got very cold the night before we went out there, and it stayed cool so we slept well. For those of you that don't live near us, Florida camping is very uncomfortable in warm humid weather...so we like it when it gets cold.

Jason

Jason's 1st haircut - December 23rd, 2006, just a few days after his 1st birthday. He was pretty good at sitting still as long as Dad held his hands.

Jason found a fun new activity while waiting for Mom to clean the kitchen...

Brothers...

The kids are watching a cartoon. Notice Jason's belly hanging out and an ice cream cone in his hand (it's plastic). He's already learning how to be a couch potato.

Halloween 2006

Halloween was fun this year with the kids. Jason still doesn't really get it, but Sarah caught on quick when she figured out all she had to do is say "Trick or Treat" and people would give her candy. Now whenever we put on her pink ballerina outfit for fun, she says "Trick or Treat!"

I hosted a "Mommy & Me" activity at my house one morning for a group of mom's at church. Everyone brought dress-up costumes to play with. This was the biggest turnout we've ever had.....I was only expecting about 4 moms with their kids to show up, but we had 6 or 7 moms, and several brought 2 or 3 kids! It was a blast!
