I haven't been updating as much recently because I've been keeping busy with a new baby and dealing with 2 hurricanes (and a 3rd one is on the way). We've been very lucky. We had some roof damage and only one ceiling leak inside from hurricane Charley on August 14th-15th. We lost power but only for 3 days and spent the weekend at my sister's in Lakeland. Some of our friends were without power for 10 days. Several of our neighbors have severe roof damage, allowing a lot of water into the house (it just keeps raining like it always does this time of year). Our friends across the street had ceilings collapse in 3 rooms inside their house, and the water damage is still spreading to other parts of the house. Everywhere we look, there are plastic tarps on people's roofs (including ours) trying to keep the rain out. There is a LOT of tree debris stacked in piles along the streets of every neighborhood. Last week, before hurricane Frances hit, Shane spent the whole week helping friends and neighbors remove the debris Charley left behind from their yards. Luckily, Frances mostly fizzled out before it got to Orlando on Sept. 4th-5th, but we still had some power outages in the area (not us this time). Other parts of Florida, especially East Coast, were devastated by Frances. Now a third hurricane, Ivan, is threatening the west coast of Florida. We're praying that it will fizzle out or go a different direction.
Here are a few pictures after hurricane Charley.

The local grocery shopping plaza.

Shingles from peoples roofs were blown all over our neighborhood.

Our neighbors across the street...The night before he jokingly told us he hopes a tree falls on his truck so he can get a new one!

Here's one of the many trees uprooted by the storm. This is across the street from my parents' house (Frank & Suzie).

More tree problems in the neighborhood.

Spending time in Lakeland after the hurricane.

Shalene and Rebekah came to visit, just in time for the hurricane!! Rebekah likes to make this face and say, "Wow!"

Rebekah getting into Shane's guitars.

Rebekah likes to chill out with Tyler on the couch to play Game Boy.

The cousins are getting to know each other (Rebekah and Sarah are 9 months apart).

Holding hands.

Tyler, Amber, and Brandi trying to keep Shalene and Rebekah from leaving for the airport.

Rebekah and Shalene are sad to leave. Hopefully they'll come visit us again soon.

Sarah, Amber, and Brandi after church. We went to their ward in Lakeland since we didn't have power in Orlando.

Uncle Brian is being selfish with the baby.

BIG EYES!

I found some cute bows that fit in her hair.

Sarah likes to look at her dad.

Sarah decided to wake Tyler up for school one morning.

Okay, so she likes to make silly faces like her big brother.

After church one Sunday, we decided to set the timer on our camera and take a family picture. While we were waiting for the camera to go off, Sarah loaded up her diaper in a VERY loud way...we were trying not to laugh.
