JASON!!

After several months of cruising along holding onto furniture or pushing around a toy stroller, Jason finally figured out he can walk without holding onto anything! It took him until he was 15 months old to figure this out, but once he got started there was no stoppint him!

True story... One night Shane was giving the kids a bath. Jason was standing up holding onto the side of the tub while Shane washed his hair. Suddenly Jason looked up at Shane with a big frown and started crying. Shane looked around to see what might have hurt him, and he found Sarah with her TEETH CLAMPED ONTO JASON'S LITTLE BUM CHEEK! She was just chomping down as hard as she could (who know why)!! Shane had to leave the room to laugh before he could scold Sarah. Poor Jason, look at the bruise his big sister left behind...

T-Man

After several months of a long, bushy hairdo, Tyler got in the mood one day and told me to buzz it all off. It was late in the day and I was tired, but I hurried and did it before he changed his mind! I think he looks better with short hair.

Daddy and the Kids

Two of Shane's favorite things..... his truck and his baby girl.

He also loves having this little guy to rough around with. My sister's husband is in the Army, and they gave us these t-shirts.

Mom and the Kids

Our dishwasher broke, and the "new" we bought at a reduced priced had a damaged drain motor and leaked water everywhere. So, while we were getting that mess sorted out these were my dishwashers after every meal for a couple of weeks. They actually enjoyed it, but it was too much work for me. I'm glad to have a new running dishwasher now...

The kids and I love to snuggle and read books.

Shane's Project

Shane was laid off in December, and was without permanent employment for a few months. They gave him a good severance package, so we survived okay. He did odd jobs to earn a little extra cash during his time off. He also did some home improvement projects. One of them was to build some box/bench seats for my kitchen. I'll get some cushions to go on top and they can be used as seats as well as a good place to hide food storage. I've been wanting them for a while, now I'm glad we have them!
